Before my food industry rant I just want someone that's like minded or that cares a bit about what they eat in a day where no one will take care of you as well as you.
Just like everyother monopolized industry run by a group of conglomerates that work together for a common goal, the food industry has become problematic, yet the results don't happen immediately so people think "well alot of people have (enter disease here)". The food industry, in an attempt to make food, cheaper to produce uses the aid of chemicals which they know are very damaging to the body such as aspartame to yellow #5 or #6. If a franchise can outsell(or put out of business) the ma and pop restaurant down the street, their happy.
Id rather spend the bit of extra money and eat organic or at the ma and pop restaurant across the street and support local business. They may not be able to afford the conveniences(such as a drive thru or food ready in 5mins but the pros outweigh the cons when you stop and think.
