I have already gotten rid of the usual high-fructose corn syrups that most of the population is addicted to: i.e. carbonated soft drinks, and fake "juice" (e.g. Snapple and Sobe, and anything with the word "cocktail" or "juice beverage"). But when I read ingredient labels, I find high-fructose corn syrup also hiding in jams and jellies, and in pasta sauces. I would like to occasionally have something on my pasta besides condensed tomato soup, but I cannot afford the usual "organic" (read: overpriced) brands. Are there affordable ways to get high-fructose corn syrup out of my life?
